Work Session
Present were: Mayor Grenier, Councilors Otis, Remillard, Gentili, Morgan Allain, Higbee, Rozek, Nelson and Theberge
Others presents included City Manager Jim Wheeler and Barbara Tetreault, Berlin Daily Sun
Non-Public Session
Councilor Rozek moved to go into non-public session per RSA 91-A:3 II(d) land maters; Councilor Higbee seconded and the motion carried unanimously by roll call.
Documents were reviewed.
Councilor Rozek moved to come out of non-public session; Councilor Higbee seconded and the motion carried unanimously by roll call.
Great Lakes Hydro Agreement
Mr. Wheeler presented the agreement.
Councilor Rozek moved with a second from Councilor Higbee to approve the agreement and authorize the City Manager to execute it on the City’s behalf subject to such minor edits requested by GLHA as are approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. So moved, the motion carried unanimously.
Georgia Pacific
Mr. Wheeler explained that the City and BIDPA have been interested in the property for several years. GP wants to sell. The Purchase and Sale was executed at a meeting held September 8, 2015.
Councilor Rozek moved with a second from Councilor Higbee to approve the Purchase and Sales Agreement and authorize the City Manager to schedule and execute a closing on the property sale. So moved, the motion carried.
Non-Public Session
Councilor Rozek moved to go into non-public session per RSA 91-A:3 II ~~ (e) Consideration or negotiation of pending claims or litigation; Councilor Higbee seconded and the motion carried unanimously by roll call.
Councilor Rozek moved with a second from Councilor Higbee to come out of non-public session; so moved, the motion carried unanimously by roll call.
There being no further business, Councilor Rozek moved to adjourn; Councilor Higbee seconded and the motion carried.
